Last weekend we had the honor of photographing our first same sex marriage in PA.  When they booked us to photograph their wedding they were going to have their ceremony in Delaware, but when just a few weeks before their date same sex marriages became legal in Pennsylvania, they quickly changed their plans so that their ceremony would take place at their church in Malvern.  I wasn’t personally available to photograph their wedding as I was already booked when they contacted me, but Bill who’s one of our senior associate photographers was available and we all hit it off when they came to the studio for their initial consultation.  So while I wasn’t at the wedding, Bill and Mark did an amazing job and I adore looking at the images from the day since you can feel the love that Rich and Rich (yes they both have the same name!) have for each other.  When I look at them I just can’t stop smiling…

All of us here at Pictures by Todd are very excited that EVERYONE  in Pennsylvania now has the option to get married here, and we look forward to photographing many more lovely wedding celebrations for gay couples in the future!!
