Ida and Jon’s Wedding at the Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park.

Everyone that falls in love during middle school, believes it’s true love! But for most young love, it’s only a phase blown away with a little time. Ida and Jon’s love story is slightly different. They dated when they were young, then years later the spark was lit again! Confirming the fling so many years ago was something either of them could forget.

Ida and Jon’s wedding was flowing with personality and whimsical details. Ida is all creativity, she’s a graphic designer that knows style. Ida designed signs for everything from the photo-booth to the shuttle bus. Her designs gave the wedding a extra layer of fun. Ida and Jon made it clear that “Green is the New White” when she dared to wear a green wedding dress. Her dress by Roland Mouret was stunning, perfectly fitting Ida with elegance and a little sass.

The ceremony was outdoor the Manor House at Prophecy Creek. The aisle was lined with daisies. Fleur De Lis Floral Design created a gorgeous chuppah for Ida and Jon to say “I do” under. To our surprise former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell was leading the ceremony. He naturally carried out a loving ceremony. Then armed with bubble guns, the flower girls and ring bearers filled the sky with bubbles and the party was on!

The reception was covered in tall daisies centerpieces. Lanterns of all shades of green dangled from the ceiling. Keeping to their “Green is the New White” theme. Why not have Ida’s dad, Merrill Reese the Eagles corresponder for over 40 years introduce you! Only appropriate! The excitement didn’t stop there, the night was only beginning! The room was filled with dancing, heartfelt speeches, and lots of love! The Monte Carlo Band with not doubt had everyone dancing all night! The band even handed their instruments over to Jon and his old band for a little L.A. Women jam session to top the night off!!
