Father’s Day is just around the corner which makes it a great time to stop and reflect on the beauty of a father/daughter relationship.  One of our favorite parts of a wedding is when we get to photograph a touching moment while the bride is dancing with her father.  At Chris and Melissa’s wedding we also had the opportunity to witness the groom dancing with his daughter… and it was one of the sweetest moments we’ve ever seen at a wedding!

The love they feel for each other was tangible and I think these images convey that. My wife and I recently had our third child… and at the time I took these images we didn’t yet know whether we were having another boy (we already have two), or a little girl.

But I got all misty eyed watching them and I couldn’t help but think of how sweet it would feel to share a dance with my daughter if we were to have one. Of course we found out that we were going to be having another boy, so I suspect I’ll won’t really ever have the chance to know firsthand, but I’m happy that I was able to witness and feel the love that Chris and Jordyn share during their beautiful wedding dance.
