Amanda and Greg were married at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church just a few blocks from the Aldie Mansion. The getting ready began in the ladies’ bridal suite which sits atop the Aldie Mansion. The atmosphere was calm and cool when we arrived! They were following all the basic wedding day pre-ceremony steps of food and hydration!
The bridal party kicked off the afternoon by popping a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and toasting to love! Greg and his groomsman enjoyed their #1 accessory…..beer from a local microbrewery Forest & Main! Cracking the uniquely designed cans and toasting to Amanda & Greg!
They tied the knot right before a storm rolled in washing away the hot and humid afternoon. Some believe that rain is good luck on your wedding day. It’s said a wet knot is harder to unravel! Rain can also represent good fortune for the lucky bride and groom!
The sun was shining just in time for cocktails in the courtyard. Jeffrey A. Miller Catering are one of a kind, serving up delicious hors d’oeuvres and unforgettable dinners and desserts.
