Great Headshots with the team at Center City Mortgage

This set of headshots was a great opportunity to get creative. To capture the deep Philadelphia roots present in Center City Mortgage’s brand, we decided that the headshots should have a “Downtown Philadelphia” feel to them.  Rather than drag all of the employees around the city to different locations, we decided to shoot everyone in our Bryn Mawr studio on white. After the fact, we put our subjects onto custom made, curated digital backgrounds we created using images of Philadelphia.

There are so many benefits to creating images this way. Shooting on location creates great pictures, but presents a host of logistical issues. One of the biggest challenges for companies today is trying to get everyone’s schedule to line up, especially with so many people working remotely.  It can become an ordeal trying to corral everybody into the same place at the same time. Of course, after you spend all the time trying to get everyone’s schedules to line up, with any outdoor shoot, you also have to get lucky to have great weather and perfect lighting!

By shooting in the studio and utilizing the digital backgrounds that we captured of actual locations around the city, we are able to provide flexibility to the entire team. They can come to our studio when it’s convenient to them, and we can create images with a look and feel that is consistent with Center City Mortgage’s brand.

The other huge benefit to using digital backgrounds like this is that we can accommodate a growing team. When someone new comes aboard, we can capture their headshot and guarantee absolute consistency to the original image set. It’s studio ease with an on-location feel.
